The HERO House is not for everyone. We are looking for a specific type of person to join our community. If you would like an invitation of residency, applicants must:

• Have a strong desire to remain sober and fully immerse themselves in the recovery process.
• Attend and actively participate in one or more 12-step programs.
• Aspire to continue their education, regardless of what their current educational status is.
• Be willing to be a part of the community and participate in community activities in a positive manner.
• Have the ability to privately finance their residency up to one year.

What to bring:

• A good attitude
• Clothes
• Toiletries (minus mouthwash)
• Food
• Cell phone (if applicable)
• Car (if applicable)
• Books & pictures
• Computer (if applicable)

What not to bring:

• Weapons
• Pets
• Halogen lamps, candles, or incense
• Pictures, posters and/or tapestries that have drug related images
• Valuable jewelry, clothes or other personal items
